01Capture the request
Record each surface, approximate area, material, stain type, height, access, water availability, drainage, nearby plants, delicate fixtures, and any customer concern about damage. Ask for useful photos and note whether an on-site inspection is still required. Good intake separates a driveway wash from a roof, siding, or restoration-sensitive request before quoting.
02Price and get approval
Build the estimate around the actual surfaces and method, including setup, pretreatment, spot work, equipment, water limitations, access difficulty, and optional areas. State exclusions and expected results where staining or oxidation may remain. Keep the customer-approved combination of services visible so the field team does not rely on memory.
03Deliver and follow through
Schedule the job with access, water, surface, plant-protection, and customer-notification notes attached. Save before photos, completion proof, exceptions, approved additions, and payment status. Create a follow-up for satisfaction, maintenance timing, or another exterior area while the documented result is easy for both sides to review.
