01Capture the request
Walk the property and record every included room or exterior surface, measurements, current condition, peeling or water damage, repair needs, furniture movement, access, and customer timing. Photograph complex areas and distinguish walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets, siding, or specialty finishes so the requested result is clear before estimating begins.
02Price and get approval
Price preparation, repairs, primer, number of coats, labor, materials, equipment, and each optional surface separately enough for the customer to understand the scope. Record paint brand, color code, sheen, and who supplies it. Keep later color or scope approvals attached instead of accepting an ambiguous hallway conversation.
03Deliver and follow through
Schedule the crew with confirmed colors, prep expectations, access, and sequencing visible. Save progress and completion notes, approved changes, leftover-paint information, payment status, and final photos. After closeout, follow up on punch-list items and preserve the exact coating details for future touch-ups or adjacent projects.
